The After Affect
Heavily influenced by bands such as While She Sleeps, Architects & Young Guns, The After Affect are stretching the post hardcore boundaries showcasing a selection of melodic catchy choruses, beat downs and intricate guitar tapping rawly delivered at their persistently energetic shows.
The After Affect have now had the pleasure of sharing stages with Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Memphis May Fire, The Colour Moral & Dream on Dreamer and headlined the Surrey Live Club stage at Guilfest 2011 on a bill with Funeral for a Friend, Gallows and Skindred. They have also had airplay on Newbury Sound and Blast FM and BBC Introducing Berkshire. Following on from this they've now gone on to win one of the unsigned talent competitions on BBC Introducing, judged by Linda Serck - BBC Introducing, Sean Hunt - Sub 89 and Sanjay Limbachya – Raw Linx.
Current releases include the Thousand Voices E.P. recorded in July 2011 which has received good press available for reference in the FB page photo gallery. The EP is available to listen to and purchase here on our facebook page and features "Thousand Voices", "It's Our Time" and "Looking For An Exit"
Taken Alive was the first single released which features a dubstep remix and music video shot in the outback of plymouth produced and directed by Daniel Broadly.
