Tim Martin (born in 1990) is a singer/songwriter from Glasgow. His music is a mixture of folk, rock, pop influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith, Belle and Sebastian, Bright Eyes, Nick Drake and The Smiths. He started songwriting while at high school, playting both solo and with his former band Dwam Logic (2007-2010). Now he primary plays as a solo artist, although he also plays in an electonic duo called Splashback. In 2010 he recorded many of his songs in an acoustic format using a 4 track home recording system. Some of these recordings have been made available on spotify and itunes from 2011 under the name Acoutsic EP. He is currently working on recording more tracks and also re-recording the songs on the Acoustic EP with more instrummentation. The follow up will be the Judy EP which is due to be released sometime in 2012.
